This meetup group is designed for people who enjoy hiking and spending quality time in the outdoors. Our group name only suggests where we we begin---because we have explored parts of Eastern Tennessee (Smokies), North Georgia, and South Central Kentucky. Many believe by not knowing what's going to happen, it won't. Others believe that by not bringing our attention to it, and thinking positive thoughts and meditating that it won't happen either. And many just downplay the predictions and prophesies that have been passed down from ancient cultures. But now, NASA and NOAA are confirming certain events that will more than likely occur on that date that will test us as a specie.
The End of a cycle seems to always bring about these events, and along with these events comes the harvesting of all ripened souls for their graduation into the next level or Higher Dimensions.

Whether you are a stay at home mom, or a working mom this group is perfect for you. My passion is to help moms like myself, have time and financial freedom. We will also have "ladies day/night" of enjoying Rutherford County like shopping, wine tasting, house parties (candles, pampers, surprise,…) and many more. This groups idea came about mainly because a friend and I (we both like to play and/or sing) wanted to play 'out' more often, but we were not 'officially' in any kind of band at the time. I think the desire to get in front of people occasionally and do this feeds some kind of inner 'need' or desire or something. Kinda like a drug (no, we don't do drugs). Is it just me? Are you feelin' it? If you are, you may need to read on....
Anyway, we were hanging out at our local watering hole and started playing acoustically semi-regularly on the deck out back on the weekends in the summer so we could have fun doing what we love. Its been kinda more fun than playing in a real band. No drama. No quitting members. No starting over when somebody leaves. No endless rehearsals till you get everything 'perfect'.
The atmosphere is relaxed, no pressure and audience interactive because we are not on a stage but playing and standing around with them. We play. We sing. They sing. We harmonize (or try to depending on who's singing or if we know the song!). Sometimes we may figure out a new song right there by playing the song and pulling the tabs up on our phones. Originals are played too, but this has not been a song writing thing per se. There are other groups for that.
What we play:
Let me just say, the intent of this group is to be open to everything. Diversity is cool. With that said, we (the starting members of this group) tend to lean toward 70's and 80's classic rock, southern rock and country (new and old). We love harmonies and working on harmonies. We can pull out anything from 'Fly me to the moon' by Frank Sinatra to 'Chicken Fried' by the Zac Brown Band, to 'Crazy Train' by Ozzy.
Purpose:
This is for people who just want to show up with a guitar (or other acoustic instrument) and/or their voice and play and/or sing in front of a varying size crowd without having to spend 6 months working up a 30 song list with a band that might never get a gig and that might have to start over when somebody decides to quit or somebody gets kicked out.
Drama. Been there, done that. It's hard starting over. In the meantime...between bands....or between gigs.... This is what we do. We have fun.
Who should join?
If anything I have mentioned previously is something you can relate to or have had a hankering to do (if you are from the south you know what 'hankering' is; if not, you might need to move back up NORTH...(just kidding)...yankees are welcome and are people too...), you should join.
If you have never played with other people and want to see what its like in a no pressure, have fun atmosphere, you should join.
If you like to sing and haven't been able to because you are not in a band or you sing in the shower or car and you want to 'perform' and see what it is like, you should join.
If you sing and want to work on harmonizing with others, you should join.
If you sing karaoke and want to see what its like to sing with musicians playing for you, you should join (bring your own words though cause we ain't got no karaoke machine!).

Hi, my name is Beth. I am a mother of 3 kiddos age 5, 9, and 10. We moved to Murfreesboro from South Florida about 2 years ago. Most importantly I am a Christian who strives everyday to live a life that will glorify our Heavenly Father. My other titles include Wife, Mom, Daughter, Sister, Cousin, friend, and couponer.
I started couponing about a year ago and have saved an average of $900 a month. A friend of mine told me about some couponing websites. It only took a trip to publix, leaving with almost $100 dollars in merchandise that I paid $8 for, and I was hooked. Now I can never go back. The idea of paying the prices I used to pay is impossible once you realize how low prices can be when you shop effectively.
We now have more food in the pantry than ever before and we reduced our grocery budget by hundreds of dollars a month. This allows our family to live on one income, give more freely to others, save for our kids college, and just spend God's money wisely.
The purpose of our group is to share information with each other, help other moms that want to save money, share deals with each other, trade coupons that we may not need for our own families, and talk about how we can give to those in need.
Each meet up will have a topic such as organizing coupons, using online resources, shopping at drugstores, and giving to those in need. We will also share our lives with each other and pray for one another. Whether you are new to couponing or an experienced couponer, this group is a way for you to meet other Christian moms with a common interest......saving money and living a life that is pleasing to our Heavenly Father.

I decided to start this group to find women like myself who love life and all that it offers. This group is for women 25-40 seeking to enjoy the company of other women to increase their social circle. This group will meet for drinks, dining, movies, shopping trips, etc... The idea will be to form a healthy network of women to share and connect with through Fun!
A few guidelines have been put in place for this group to remain successful:
1.) Each member will be responsible for paying $2, either through paypal or in person, to the organizer for every 6 months of membership. These dues will be used to cover meetup membership expenses.
2.) Members who are inactive for over two months, and do not notify the organizer of any outside circumstances, will be removed from the group. You can of course join back up if you become active again.
3.) This will, hopefully, become a group of good friends. You wouldn't want to RSVP for a date with your girlfriends, and then not show up, right? The same logic applies for this group. Please use good judgment when RSVPing for events. Any member who consistently RSVPs and then does not show up will be removed

This group is all about parents with kids. It doesn't matter if you are a single parent or a dou group. Its all about the kids getting out and having fun! My son is 9 years old so a lot of the meetups will be streamlined for the age group of 5 up til 16 years old.
This group is being formed out of the desire of the rising number of self-described Libertarians to mix & mingle with like-minded people. The purpose of the group is to provide social situations in which 'libertarian' ideas can be freely discussed among like-minded individuals who want a group outlet with which to connect. This is a very open community. Anyone who is not abusive towards group members is welcome. As long as there in non-violence, all opinions and the people who have them are welcome. My personal hope for the group is that it will just be a community of formerly lonely libertarians who will now feel like they are part of something. Anything beyond that would be a bonus in my eyes.

690,000* Moms experience postpartum depression but only 1 in 5 will seek professional help.
460,000* moms will experience depression or anxiety during pregnancy, which is a strong indicator for PPD.
Postpartum depression is a real illness. It's something that more people need to be aware, something that needs more attention because most people don't know what it is and don't understand it. A lot of women remain silent about it because they are afraid to talk about it and get help for it. Fear should never be a reason to continue to suffer.
